The Windsor Plan

This Plan provides all the features of the very best cremation funeral, including a top quality veneered coffin:

• We offer guidance on the registration of the death
• Removal of the deceased within twenty-five miles of our offices at any time, day or night
• Care of the deceased according to the wishes of the family, as well as viewing at our Chapel of Rest
• The supply of a veneered coffin with pressed panelled sides and a raised lid, fitted with handles, lining and gown set
• Making all the necessary arrangements and providing staff for the funeral service
• Providing a hearse with two following cars and bearers. The cortege can leave from a private address prior to the service which, if desired, may be held in a local church
• A contribution towards the expenses or "disbursements"
• Cost - £2,990.00 (This includes £875.00 for disbursements as noted in the brochure and £85.00 administration fee). 
  Price valid from 1st November 2011 until 31st October 2012.

Disbursement Fees

Each plan includes a contribution towards other expenses, such as burial or cremation fees, minister's fees etc. - these fees are known as "disbursements". This is intended to cover most if not all of the usual disbursements, but please note that they are outside of our control and cannot be guaranteed.

The amount included for disbursements will be increased annually in line with the Retail Price index.

You can include a larger (or smaller) contribution towards disbursements if you wish - please ask if you need advice on this point.

The Regency Plan

This provides all the features of the very best traditional burial funeral.

The service is the same as the Windsor plan, except that this plan includes a solid oak coffin, fitted with metal handles, together with lining and gown set.

• A contribution towards the expenses or "disbursements". 
• Cost - £3,225.00 (This includes £875.00 for disbursements as noted in the brochure and £85.00 administration fee). 
  Price valid from 1st November 2011 until 31st October 2012.

The Edwardian Plan

This is a more economical funeral, suitable for either cremation or burial, similar to the Windsor and Regency plans but a plain veneered coffin is provided, with handles, lining and gown set, and only one limousine is included.

• A contribution towards the expenses or "disbursements". 
• Cost - £2,630.00 (This includes £875.00 for disbursements as noted in the brochure and £85.00 administration fee). 
  Price valid from 1st November 2011 until 31st October 2012.

The Victorian Plan

This plan covers the minimum required for a burial or cremation i.e. removal during office hours, a plain coffin and a hearse to meet the family at a local crematorium or cemetery.

This plan does not include facilities for viewing, a limousine, a procession from the house, nor attendance at a church service.

• A contribution towards the expenses or "disbursements". 
• Cost - £2,325.00 (This includes £875.00 for disbursements as noted in the brochure and £85.00 administration fee). 
  Price valid from 1st November until 31st October 2012.

Personalised Arrangements

A funeral is a very personal matter and many people have particular wishes. If none of these plans suit your requirements then please let us know and we will prepare a personalised plan just for you, to allow for whatever services you require.

Pre-Arrangement Service

H L Hawes & Son Ltd Funeral Directors also offer the facility where we can hold your written instructions on file. This can be updated by you as often as required.

We will send you a letter of confirmation of the arrangements to you and if required, a copy to relative(s) or executor(s).

The funeral can be paid for, at the time of need, by your family or from the estate in the usual way.

A full estimate of charges will be provided at the time of arranging the funeral.
